Viper centrally manages the whole service delivery system by operating the underlying servers, networks and other devices that make it up. A software 'agent' rests on each of these objects, allowing Viper to execute commands as if it were that object.
In effect, Viper users gain access to the complex capabilities of every object without requiring the expertise to operate it individually.
Viper also becomes a central point of support - service administrators can notify users of known or possible service interruptions and other issues on a noticeboard in the Account Manager.
Users can also support themselves with a customisable knowledge base system that automatically changes its content to display the service configuration information appropriate to the user.
